How Bazaar

“I would like you to close your eyes and imagine you are standing in the middle of the Sahara Desert and right next to you is a magnificent Arabian Bazaar. You can see the beautiful silk drapes hanging from the marble pillars and fluttering in the light breeze, the sound of trickling water tinkles to your ears from the small rock waterfall in the centre of the bazaar and the scents of lamb roasting over a pit drift to your nostrils. In the distance the sound of music and castanets accompany an exotic dancer shimmying her way across the sand…

Website Design – What Does it Cost?

The cost of website design is strictly relative to what goes into it…but building a website for your business may not be as expensive as you think, especially when you consider that a website is a new venue from which you do business. Now compare the cost of the website to setting up a new office or store front. There are variants to the price which may include adding an ecommerce platform.  This involves installing, testing and updating a purchasing facility for your products. Special links are needed to enable your purchasers to order and pay for goods from your…

Responsive Websites

We only build responsive websites. That is to say they will work perfectly well on a PC, Tablet or smartphone. Google recommend to Webmasters that they follow “industry best practice” by using responsive web design. This means serving the same HTML for all devices and using only CSS media queries to decide the rendering on each device. How Algorithms Affect SEO

It isn’t difficult to look back at recent algorithm updates from Google and evaluate how each one has altered the role of an SEO. In the simplest sense, Panda forced us to become better writers and researchers. Penguin made us change the way we build links. Most recently, although it was less of an algorithm update and more of an infrastructure change to Google’s core algorithm, Hummingbird asked us to consider conversational search queries in the content we produce. Regardless of how small an algorithm update may be, the development and growth of an SEO’s responsibilities can be traced back…

Hope In Jesus Ministry – New Website

We have recently completed the website for the new  We Have This Hope In Jesus Ministry.  It is a lengthy site, containing over 50 pages.  Most pages have pictures and videos with music in the background. The most time consuming aspect of this site was the cataloguing of an audio file for every single chapter of the bible, old and new testament, English and Spanish.  That is over 2,378 chapters, with approximately 9 different actions required to log and display each audio file so it was easy to read by the users of the site. The front page has an impressive…

Algorithm Updates

Up till now it has not affected Keystone to any great degree, we have assessed the requirements and implemented them where necessary. It always means long meetings to discuss and form the new framework, but all in all we have found these changes beneficial. There are a lot of “knockers” regarding Panda, Penguin and Hummingbird, but mostly they are from people who relied on black hat techniques, such as automatic back linking, link farming etc.  The link farming in particular has been made extremely difficult by Google now….
